NewsAlexander Balabanov about the Facebook platform: We all support the democratic society. And what do we have? Community rules, "designed" in the manner of Stalin's laws on anti-Soviet activities and agitation, which the KGB "masters" could apply to anyone. "If there is a man, there always will be an article in the law for him" ...

"My reflections after a monthly ban.

I made a statement that collected over two hundred likes in a couple of hours, after that I was banned for a month.

I do not want to discuss the fact and my attempts to protest against the decision.

It's about a different thing.

Here we are (at least I, my Facebook friends, and those who are not listed in my Facebook friends list because of the lack of my attention).
...I found a surprising number of such people when I looked through the Facebook, being deprived of the possibility to invite them as friends by the sentence...

We all support the democratic society.

What is Facebook in this sense?

By the decision of it's owner and his team some "community rules" were established....

I have a few comments.

Who is "community" here? Aren't it we ourselves?

Is the community the owner of Facebook, comrade Zuckerberg?

- Of course not. He is an entrepreneur who, together with his team, created the platform, which he provides to us, the users, and we create a community. That's not Zuckerberg.

So shouldn't we create the rules of our community?

Probably there should be the different rules for different groups, since we, the members, would like to cooperate with someone, and we do not want to have anything in common with some other Facebook users.

And what do we have?

Community rules, "designed" in the manner of Stalin's laws on anti-Soviet activities and agitation, which the KGB "masters" could apply to anyone. "If there is a man, there always will be an article in the law for him"....

Then our "cases", as in those old days, are studied by the unknown people (Moderators? Council? Who knows?)

Under Stalin, it was called the "OSO" - a Special Council...

As we know from our recollections, the case study and the sentence took just a few minutes...

Even the advocate, even just formal, did not participate...

Just like in Facebook....

That's my proposition."

"Taking into consideration Facebook's rules and the actions, Mark and his supporters decided to use the Facebook platform to "create" the USSR around the world in the manner of Stalin's laws. If so, it should be immediately closed and Facebook administration should be interrogated by the law enforcement. This is a blatant fact of lawlessness: the construction of a totalitarian regime in a democratic society. Facebook in Zuckerberg's style is a big trouble of the 21st century!"
